Hi
Guided Writing:
"What's about swimming? I suppose you enjoy swimming..."
Lehrerin: "What about..."
Warum ist das "is" falsch? (1)
"Alright" soll falsch sein -> "Allright" ist richtig. Warum? (2)
muss man unbedingt "recommended me to" schreiben oder kann man das "me" weglassen? ^^ (3)
"I'm sure you wonder yourself how I did this." (4)
Complete the sentences so that they explain the meaning of the underlined words (synonyms):
8. When there was no doubt for Yannick and Simon to go to Australia they were excited.
Now it was _________ for them to spend half a year in Australia.
The Aborigines (be) were [richtig] Australia's first people.
They (live) had [falsch: have wäre richtig] lived there for at least 40,000 years. (6)
then they (live) had lived [falsch: had zu viel] all over Australia. (7)
However, a lot (change) changed [falsch.. da fehlt was] for them since Europeans (come) came [richtig] to Austrailia in the 1700s.(8)
Aboriginal communities still (have) have [richtig] their own language, culture, art and special stories.
In "Dreamtime" the world (create) is created [falsch: was created] by the rainbow snake and other gods. (9)
today this rainbow snake (find) can be found [richtig] in 6,000-year-old rock art.
The land (be) was [falsch] very important to Aborignies, and non-Aboriginal people (not/understand) didn't understand [falsch] this. (10)
Aborigines (say) said [falsch] (11) that they (not/own) don't own [richtig] the land and so it (cannot/buy/and sell) can't be bought and selled [selled ist falsch - sold.. dummer leichtsinnsfehler von mir, weiß auch nicht wie das passieren konnte]
Verdammte Sche....
British settlers in the 1700s (not/accept) didn't accept [richtig] that Aborigines (have) had [richtig] any rights at all.
So they (force) were forced [richtig] by them to move from their traditional lands.
The government (take) had taken [falsch] many Aboriginal children away from their families. (12)
Today these children (call) are called [richtig] the "Stolen generations".
