Witzig, meistens würde ich sagen "the most" ist falsch, aber hier ist es tatsächlich so, dass "the thing I like the most" und "the thing I like most" annähernd identisch und richtig für mich sind. (Könnte am Dialekt liegen, das lass ich mal jemand anderen entscheiden).

Hört sich für mich beides richtig an. Ich würde wahrscheinlich eher zu "most" tendieren, aber das ist Geschmackssache/Gewohnheit.

absolut egal. beides gleichwertig. the most vielleicht ein tick stärker weil man bei der betonung automatisch teatralischer wird
